Jodi Daniels is a Certified Informational Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) with more than 20 years of experience helping a range of businesses from solopreneurs to multi-national companies in privacy, marketing, strategy, and finance roles. During her corporate career, she proved a valuable asset to companies like Deloitte, The Home Depot, Cox Enterprises, Bank of America where she most recently served as the privacy partner for Digital Banking and Digital Marketing. Ms. Daniels started her privacy career by creating the comprehensive privacy program at Cox Automotive. She launched an online advertising network for Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book.

Since launching in 2017, Red Clover Advisors has helped hundreds of companies create privacy programs, achieve GDPR, CCPA, and US privacy law compliance, and establish a secure online data strategy their customers can count on. Jodi makes privacy easy to understand by breaking it down into measurable steps using plain language her clients can relate to. She passionately supports the idea that privacy is more than just compliance and concern over fines. It’s a human right we all deserve. She has made it her mission to help businesses build trust and transparency with this core value at its foundation.

Jodi holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. She lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband, two little girls, and a big fluffy dog named Basil.

Over the last decade, it has become increasingly clear the most cutting-edge clients of today require high-level guidance transcending conventional legal issues. This realization led me to MIT where I completed a program on blockchain technology and to Harvard where I completed coursework in cybersecurity.

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to add this new skill set to my previous legal expertise and collaborate with executives to create and implement multi-layered strategies to better manage cybersecurity and data protection. While these opportunities have often arisen from a data incident or breach, my goal is to work proactively to mitigate these risk and make organizations more resilient if they occur.

Highlights–

► Collaborated with innovators to design the legal and cybersecurity frameworks for smart cities that include shared IoT and autonomous vehicles.

► Quarterbacked the forensic and legal investigation into a middle market company’s wire fraud caused by a phishing incident and facilitated the creation and implementation of a broad cybersecurity plan afterwards.

►Served as a TEDx and keynote speaker domestically and abroad on cybersecurity, AI, and blockchain.

►Launched “The Cyber Drill Experience” and challenged 350+ people to learn from a real-time threat simulation.

► Created and executed Atlanta Cyber Week bringing 1K+ global attendees to Atlanta and solidifying many cross-functional relationships. Within one week, 11 sessions were held highlighting the unique cybersecurity ecosystem in the Atlanta metro.

►Built Cybercon to effectively bring businesses, government leaders, and academics together in discussing the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape.

► Co-founded a cybersecurity accelerator. This allowed a unique opportunity to bring CISO’s and cybersecurity startups together in support of new cybersecurity technology.

When businesses use existing or new technological innovation, they must, at the same time, grapple with evolving cyber threats. My goal is to arm clients with the knowledge, strategy, and implementation tools to facilitate business while effectively managing cybersecurity and data protection risk.
